Online visual record of my work + personal art as I awkwardly stumble through my first year as an Animation student. Swishh
Questions, please

Doodling on my lap whilst chatting on Facebook :)

I used a Zebra HB 0.7mm mechanical pencil.

Aaand first development done. I hate how uninspired by this project I feel. I guess it’s because in the end it’ll just be a few pixels, and needs to be easy to break down and animate… Not my style, generally.

Oh, but I do love farting around with pixels, it’s just such a naff outcome for such a broad and rich concept.

The initial sketch I did for my alter ego squirrel.

Poor photo quality and you can tell I’m out of practice but… Squirrel!

A sketch for my alter ego project in uni - will eventually result in animated 8-bit pixel art. The hood, coloured with water colour pencil, and feet are driving me insane, I’ll clean them up later in development.

Trying to draw a squirrel in a hoodie is ridiculous.

Observational drawings/paintings of butterflies and moths or an old protraits project based on the zodiac.

The black and white version.

PS - there wont always be such an assault on your dashboard - I’m just building up my blog - thanks! :)

For an old decay (what I called bio-mechanical decay) project at college.
Paper dipped in water with waterproof ink and manipulated slightly in Photoshop - mostly cutting and pasting etc. :)
